About Project 2050
Before
I have started my professional career in foresight consulting, I have
always been greatly interested in future strudies and the societal
implications of emerging technologies.
Hence
in my freetime I have conducted discussion groups, held lectures,
organized events, did research, and developed methods for future
scenario construction and "vision assessment".
"Project
2050" stands as a collective term for my wide array of non-profit
projects, ranging from creating educational videos to my involvement in
a non-profit membership organization for promoting the safe and ethical
use of new technologies.

Since
the scientific and technological progress is expected to grow on an
even faster pace in the future, it is today where we have to make the
relevant decisions.
My aspiration is to find the best ways for applying
and managing emerging technologies to solve
today’s problems.
Every
interesting input, idea and discussion is highly welcome!
My aim is to provide useful and
substantiated advice to people and organizations in regard to issues,
potentials and possible dangers arising with emerging technologies. As
a social scientist by training with a widely interdisciplinary and
technological orientation, my main interests focus on ethical, social
and legal implications (ELSI) of nano,-bio- and information technology
as well as cognitive science and medical technology (NBIC). |
